JAPIA aims to contribute to the progress of the automotive parts industry by addressing various challenges related to automotive parts, thereby contributing to the growth of Japanese economy and improvement in the lives of the people. In order to achieve our objectives, Association shall carry out the following activities in Japan and abroad.

(1) Research on the production, distribution, and import/export of automotive parts, as well as the preparation and publication of various statistical research materials.

(2) Research and recommendations on the following matters.
① Promoting understanding of the automotive parts and automotive parts industry.
② Standardization of technical regulations for automotive parts.
③ Manufacturing technology, safety technology and environmental technology for automotive parts.
④ Environmental protection in relation to automotive parts and automotive parts industry.
⑤ Protection of intellectual property in the automotive parts and automotive parts industry.
⑥ Government policies for automotive parts and automotive parts industry.
⑦ Information technology of the automotive parts and automotive parts industry.
⑧ The trade of automotive parts and the international business environment of the automotive industry.
⑨ The business environment of the automotive parts industry.
⑩ Matters related to human resources, safety and health, skills development, and labor relations in the automotive parts industry.
⑪ Promotion of traffic safety
⑫ Matters related to the automobile and automotive industry.
