By the invitation of MEMA of the United States, the top management of the auto parts industries association of the seven countries/regions of Brazil, Canada, EU, India, Japan, Mexico and USA have held meetings to exchange information and opinions, so called the G7 Meeting, since 2017.

MEMA organized the first meeting in January 2017, to coincide with the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) held in Las Vegas in the USA. The second meeting was held in March 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland in conjunction with the Geneva Motor Show.

The next 3rd meeting will be held in Japan by JAPIA on the occasion of "Automotive Engineering Exposition Yokohama" 2019 “ and the one after that is scheduled in February 2020 on the occasion of " Auto Expo in New Delhi " in India.
